We have a New Moon coming up this Sunday, May 24th. It will be at 3 degrees Gemini which is a very gregarious energy, social and fun. So, I’ve got natal Jupiter at 1 degree Gemini in the 5th house (an orb of only 2 degrees… so conjunction… thanks for the bless you), my natal Sun is in trine at 1 degree in Libra in the 9th house, and my natal Neptune is in opposition at 11 degrees Sagitarius in the 11th house (an orb of only 8 degrees…) Fun times for me! I guess I can look for some “emotional” expansion with this new moon as well as a powerful new direction towards achieving my ’soul’ goals. Any further input, oh wise and watery astrology master?

Like Michael, that opposition to Neptune could play itself out with others taking an opposing stance. As you go through the month, run everything through your Spirit connection and Higher Self (Neptune) to sidestep any form of deception (darker side of Neptune). Thanks for the lovely info on the new Moon for May 24. Just one comment (and I apologize — I have Virgo all over my 3rd house) it is Gesundheit, not gazoonhite, although the joke was rather funny. It’s a Yiddish word meaning ‘good health’.
This new Moon arrives in my 12th house of secrets and institutions, etc. My son is going into rehab and he has Gemini rising. I am bound to travel to my hometown to bury my mother, who was murdered on April 29th. It will be opposite my natal Venus (6th cusp) and trine my natal Mars (8th). It has no other squares, oppositions, sextiles or trines. I could use a boost in all departments. What does this look like to you?

The New Moon in your 12th indicates understanding, compassion, nurture and support coming from friends, co-workers, and of course Divine infinite Love. With the Venus opposition (and everything you’re going through), you can certainly feel opposed by others and opposed by everything that’s going on, but its important that you feel the love directed to you as well.
